位于南岸的泰特当代艺术馆，是泰特不列颠艺术馆的姐妹馆，艺术馆由一旧发电站改建而成，本身就是当代建筑艺术的展现。

泰特当代与圣保罗大教堂隔岸相望，由"千年桥"跨河相连，意趣横生，是我最爱巡游的雾城景色之一。古老与新进建筑理念撞击，是在伦敦可以处处感受到的。

The Magpie on river

Sunday afternoon, we moored our boat after the Sunbury lock, went to the Magpie pub on the Thames. 星期天的下午，我们把船泊好上岸，去到这家喜鹊酒家。

Taken from the menu, the pub looks the same. 菜单上印着的，就是这酒家从前的样子吧。

We were sitting in the garding, watching the boats go by. The Magpie is just off the lock, river traffic is very busy in summer. 酒家的后花园有露天的桌椅，对这来往川流的船只，夏天的时候很热闹。

Fish and chips, plus pea mush and salad. I have a complex towards fish and chips, something almost forces me to order them everytime but they often dissapoint me afterwards. This one looks good at least. 我点的是传统炸鱼薯条，带豌豆泥和沙拉. 它们看上去诱人，让我每次都忍不住要点，可是经常没有看上去好吃，让我失望。

Sundy lunch with chicken curry in an English pub, nobody would have seen it coming twenty years ago? 他们吃的是咖喱鸡饭。连最传统的英国酒吧的星期天的下午都有咖喱鸡卖，这在二十年前是不可能预见的吧。

The Real Greek 2 Souvlaki

Souvlaki is a branch of The Real Greek restaurants. Thomas told us, with his real expertise in everything Greek, that "souvlaki" means little skews aka kebabs. We ordered lamb souvlaki.

Souvlaki意思是小串串的意思，所以这间店就是买烧烤串串的?可惜希腊人不做麻辣烫的!!



My favorite dish, apart from grilled squid, was melitzanosalata, made of smoke aubergine, galic, tomato and other wonderful ingredients. The combination of flavours reminded me of sichuan starters, another of my favorite.

这种叫做melitzanosalata的玩意很好吃，有川菜凉菜的味道，是用薰茄子，蒜，番茄加上很多香料剁碎制成的，好吃好吃好吃...


This branch was on the south bank and we had a good view of St Paul's from where we were sitting. The seats open out to the enbankment and we enjoyed the evening ambiance.

这家分店在南岸，我们的座位望出去就是圣保罗教堂，夜景迷人，河岸上来来往往的人等也是一道风景。

哦，忘了说，我们10磅买了10株，当然比这个小一点。哈哈。
